Estimator / Sales Residential Construction (Additions Kitchens Baths Interiors Basements)

• Perform accurate field measurements site visits and quantity takeoffs
  
  
• Prepare detailed estimates scopes of work and budgets for:
  
  
  • Home additions
    
    
  • Kitchens
    
    
  • Bathrooms
    
    
  • Interior renovations
    
    
  • Basements
    
    
• Review architectural plans engineer drawings and client sketches
  
  
• Determine material quantities labor requirements and subcontractor pricing
  
  
• Present estimates to clients and assist with sales process
  
  
• Work with the project management team to hand off approved jobs
  
  
• Maintain and update estimating templates pricing and cost databases
  
  
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients vendors and team members
  
  

• 2 years of estimating experience in residential construction (required)
  
  
• Ability to complete accurate takeoffs and square footage calculations
  
  
• Strong understanding of residential building components current pricing and construction methods
  
  
• Proficiency with estimating software (Buildertrend CoConstruct Clear Estimates PlanSwift or similar)
  
  
• Ability to read architectural plans and structural drawings
  
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
  
  
• Excellent communication during client interactions
  
  
• High level of accuracy no close enough estimating
  
  

• Self-starter who doesnt need micromanagement
  
  
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Comfortable walking jobsites and taking precise measurements
  
  
• Enjoys turning homeowner conversations into clear professional estimates
  
  
• Understands how to competitively price projects without cutting corners
