About UNITE
UNITE is Berlin-Brandenburgs startup factory we bridge science business and society to turn cutting-edge research into successful ventures. Working with 25 university and research partners we support science-based spin-offs in Life Sciences DeepTech and GreenTech helping translate innovation into real-world impact.
Were looking for an experienced freelance designer to help shape UNITEs visual presence across digital and print. Youll work closely with our Marketing Product & Tech teams to bring our brand to life and establish design foundations for our growing platform.

Your mission
Immediate priorities:
- Convert our new brand and corporate identity into a fresh website design (WordPress-based)
- Create email templates for newsletters events and invitations
- Design a presentation template system
- Build and maintain a design system for the UNITE core platform
- Actively contribute to platform UI/UX design
- Support event and conference materials (print and digital)
Your profile
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating web digital product and brand work
- Skills: Proficient in Figma; comfortable working with WordPress; experience creating design systems and working with developers for handover and review of their work.
- Versatility: Equally confident designing websites email templates presentations and print materials
- Autonomy: You know what good design looks like and can work independently with clear direction ability to translate user needs into coherent user experience and design.
- Location: Based in or around Berlin with ability to attend key meetings in person
- Bonus: Experience designing for B2C/B2B/SaaS platforms or mission-driven organisations
