Job Summary
Job Summary (OR RN):
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 for all shifts
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent OR RN experience
- First-time Travelers: Not accepted
- Weekend Requirement: None
- Certifications Required: ACLS BCLS
- On-Call Requirement: Yes one shift per week
- Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: No (must live more than 50 miles from facility)
- Pending License Accepted: No
- RTO Restrictions: Time off greater than 7 days requires management approval
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Required Clinical Skills:
- General OR Gyn Robotics (Da Vinci Xi)
- Appendectomy Cholecystectomy Colon resection Hernia repair Laparoscopic procedures
- Mastectomy Thyroidectomy Hysterectomy (abdominal/vaginal/laparoscopic)
- Gastrointestinal & gynecologic robotic surgery
- Trauma (gunshot stab wounds MVA/multiple injuries)
- Fire Safety Latex Allergy Malignant Hyperthermia protocols
- Electrosurgical units Infection & Radiation Safety
- Specimen Handling/Labeling Universal Protocol (Time Out)
- EPIC charting (REQUIRED)
- Charge RN experience (REQUIRED)
- Previous float scrub and telemetry skills preferred

- Neonates Infants Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics
Unit/Procedures Covered:
- Level I Trauma Center
- Cardiothoracic Vascular Neuro/Spine Orthopedic General
- GYN Da Vinci Robotic ENT/Dental/Plastics/Maxillofacial Cystoscopy/Urology Pediatrics
Other Details:
- Facility: Level I trauma center largest acute care hospital in Toledo metro area
- Magnet/Teaching Hospital: Teaching hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 22
- Scrub Color: Provided by facility
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Free
