Job Summary (List Format):
- Manage and develop new projects after completion of data collection research and analysis.
- Conduct active research to design new projects and propose improvements to existing processes affecting business operations.
- Prepare and present innovative ideas to enhance current business processes.
- Research collect and analyze data to support strategic decision-making for new project developments.
- Utilize technical expertise to support engineering design projects specifically in transmission and/or distribution line engineering.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering codes and guidelines (California GO95 NESC ASCE).
- Apply proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD PLS-Pole and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Education/Experience/Requirements:
- Bachelors (or Masters) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- California Civil PE License is required.
- Minimum of seven years of technical experience in transmission and/or distribution line engineering design for electric utilities.
- Experience with Electric Utility Distribution and Transmission Systems.
- Knowledge and application of California GO95 NESC and ASCE codes and guidelines.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD PLS-Pole and AutoCAD.
- (Desired) Experience with PLS-Caisson and SPIDAcalc software.
