Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering and analytics team. The ideal candidate will design develop and optimize scalable data models pipelines and transformations in Snowflake using DBT (Data Build Tool). This role requires strong SQL expertise data modeling knowledge and the ability to collaborate with business and analytics teams to deliver clean reliable and well-documented data solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field.
- 6 8 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in a data engineering or analytics environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and DBT for data transformation and modeling.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with ETL/ELT design patterns and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow Azure Data Factory Prefect).
- Expertise in performance tuning data partitioning and cost optimization in Snowflake.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
