Job Summary
CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a chemical manufacturing company based near Alfreton Derbyshire for a 6 month contract with the possibility to become permanent.
The vacancy involves working in a wet chemistry laboratory performing titrimetric analysis on acids bases and mixtures using classical techniques and auto titrators.

Your main duties will be:
- Carrying out Chemical testing on raw materials and finished products using written specifications.
- Maintaining good laboratory practice (GLP) and the high standards of housekeeping/safety.
- Being environmentally aware and operating accordingly.
- Meeting and exceeding departmental KPIs.
Your Background:
- Degree or HNC in Chemistry or similar.
- 2 years of chemical laboratory experience.
- Computer literacy is required to enter results into LIMS and software packages.
- You must have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transportation due to the sites location.
