We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager who will lead strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth manage customer relationships and optimize revenue. This role involves planning and executing business development strategies managing tender processes coordinating marketing efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Implement corporate goals and manage short & long-term budgets.
- Develop business plans to ensure achievement of organizational objectives.
- Sales Marketing & Business Development:
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all incoming calls and requests for information.
- Formulate strategy for tender/contract bidding and manage the bidding process.
- Respond promptly to all incoming emails with accurate and relevant information.
- Prepare proposals for new and existing customers; facilitate facility and service demonstrations.
- Handle contract bookings and assist sales consultants in executing sales processes.
- Generate prospect lists and contact them as per standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate and execute sales and service events.
- Prepare all sales-related documents including contracts and event orders.
- Promote awareness and visibility of the companys brand image.
- Gather materials and assemble information packages for specialized sales events.
- Contact customers schedule appointments and relay relevant information to designated sales personnel.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by accurately processing orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure immediate issue resolution.
- Maintain sales records and prepare detailed sales activity reports.
- Record the progress of all customer inquiries and follow-ups.
- Encourage repeat business through strong customer networking and relationship-building.
- Follow up with customers for timely payment collection.
- Assist in actualizing marketing strategies and maintain consistent business communication with customers.
- Communicate with distributors and company representatives to resolve business-related queries.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Manage customer-centric operations and ensure adherence to delivery and service quality norms.
- Interact with customers to gather feedback on product satisfaction.
- Maintain long-term cordial relationships to ensure repeat and sustainable business.
- Additional Deliverables :
- Identify new market segments for target achievement and revenue optimization.
- Strategize and implement business growth initiatives.
- Maintain strong business relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
- Train team members on new product launches and skill-enhancement programs.
- Oversee end-to-end business transactions including tender and order documentation.
- Participate in recruitment processes when required.
- Represent the organization at seminars focused on improving decision-making techniques.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field.
- Graduate with minimum 15 years in Sales/Marketing with experience handling a team in a manufacturing unit.
- Industry Background (Mandatory): Valves Strainers Fasteners Oil & Gas or similar industrial product manufacturing sectors.
- Age Preference: Candidate should ideally be 40 years old.
- Demonstrated experience in tender/contract bidding and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
- Proven ability in customer relationship management and business development.
- Strong communication coordination and leadership skills.
- Ability to strategize and drive sales growth initiatives.
- Experience preparing sales documents contracts proposals and event orders.
- Strong networking ability to encourage repeat business.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and resolve issues efficiently.
