Job Summary

Boeing Aerospace OperationsThe Boeing Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Jacksonville FL facility with our F/A-18 support team.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build Plan development and maintenance
- Work instruction authoring
- Shop support
- Reading and interpreting Engineering data
- Structures support
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
- 2 years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above job duties.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active Secret Clearance
- 5 years of Production Engineering experience with experience in the above job duties.
- 1 years experience in Modification Repair Overhaul (MRO)
More Duties and Responsibilities (Associate)
- Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
- Works with others to develop identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
- Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles theories advanced technologies and concepts.
- Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with professional associations suppliers IPTs and internal customers to develop products skills knowledge and experience.
More Duties and Responsibilities (Mid-Level)
- Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develops identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
- Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
- Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance cost or schedule.
- Coordinates and implements new engineering principles theories advanced technologies and concepts.
- Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.
