About the role

Work as part of the perioperative education team to provide clinical and educational support in the perioperative environment.

This will involve clinical teaching/coaching to support our trainees and anaesthetic technician colleagues in clinical decision making in practice and role modelling excellent practice;

  • To provide support to the Anaesthetic Technician team
  • To advocate the needs of patients;
  • To practice both autonomously and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to support patient health care needs;
  • To set objectives and goals with individual staff members to ensure an adult learning environment is developed with clear outcomes achieved;
  • To support staff learning particularly those that are new to specialty.

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA Allied Public Health Scientific & Technical CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale clause 5.2.4 dependant on relevant experience.
