Job Summary
As an Application Management Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining existing production data pipelines reading Spark/Scala logs and performing analytical SQL queries to validate data and support regulatory reporting. You will also ensure daily and monthly pipeline executions and communicate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure on-time reporting to financial/regulatory bodies. Duties also include BAU support and on-call and coordinating issue resolution and incident documentation.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Operations Application Support QA or a related role
- University background in Computer Science/IT/Finance or equivalent
- Strong hands-on with SQL Spark (PySpark/Scala); Databricks (Delta Lake Hive Parquet) Starburst Cloudera; Airflow
- Cloud/Big Data: S3/Scality Delta Lake Parquet;
- Basic scripting (Scala)will be helpful
- Excellent communication and collaboration able to work with cross-functional teams;
- Good command of English (B2)
- Analytical mind
- Willingness to learn;
- Open to work in shifts and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
