Job Summary
Were looking for an experienced DMV/Title Clerk - knowledge of the automotive industry and procedures a must. We are looking for a hardworking individual who can follow directions and is very detail-oriented. As a DMV Clerk you must have a strong positive work ethic and an interest in a long-term position. You must also have a professional appearance and impeccable professional integrity as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet assigned deadlines.
Job duties will involve:
- Processing and submitting all new and used vehicles for title and registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Submitting/scanning all required paperwork to the CT Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Post daily DMV.
- Maintaining a system to verify out-of-state titles/registrations have correct documentation.
- Compiling and maintaining a complete list of all outstanding title work and reporting to management on the status of any missing or problem titles.
- Staying abreast of Connecticut DMV laws & regulations.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and a neat work area.
