Job Summary

Position Summary:

The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) is responsible for ensuring the qualityand reliability of ETL processesand data integration workflows.

This role involves designingand implementingautomated tests to validate data transformationand migration

as wellas collaborating with data engineersand developers to identifyand resolve data quality issues.

The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in ETL testingand data validation to enhance the overall data pipeline performanceand integrity.

Minimum Qualification:

At least 8 years of IT experience with minimum 5 years of experience in below skills:
Tech Skills

- Proficiency in ETL Testingand developingautomation framework & testcases inatleast one scripting language.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in handling big data using ETL tools (e.g. Informatica).
- Testing experience in cloud environment (AWS s3)
- Experience with TestAutomationand DevOps practices in ETLand Cloud
- Work experience inaBig Data ecosystem processing data in data lakehouse.
- Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) or similar data transformation tools isaplus.

Experience providing testing oversight inAgile team.
Should have excellent business communication to interact with Business teamsand cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Review requirements specificationsand technical design documents to understandand feedback.
Experience in developingand implementing test strategies for complex initiatives.
Estimate prioritize planand coordinate testingactivities.
Createautomation test framework.
Design developand executeautomation scripts.
Identify record document thoroughlyand track bugs.
Strong problem-solving skills troubleshootingand root causeanalysis skills.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugsare resolved.
Developandapply testing processes for newand existing features to meet client needs.
Liaise with cross functional teams to identify system requirements.
Track qualityassurance metrics like defect densitiesand open defect counts.
Stay up to date with new testing toolsand test strategies requirements.

Supportand guide junior team members.
