Job Title: School Social Worker
Location: Burbank IL 60459
Contract Duration: 22 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 3 x 11.5-hour shifts (8:00 AM 3:00 PM) 35 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $50 $53/hr

Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to support students in navigating social emotional behavioral and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will collaborate with students families educators and school staff to promote academic success and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling for students with emotional behavioral and cognitive needs
Support students with verbal and non-verbal communication challenges
Conduct social emotional and behavioral assessments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff
Collaborate with teachers parents and administrators to support student success
Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
Provide behavior management strategies and emotional regulation support
Maintain accurate documentation case notes and progress reports
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Ensure compliance with state regulations school policies and confidentiality standards

Requirements:

Active Illinois Social Worker (IL SW) License
Professional Educator License (PEL)
