Role overview

As Fulfillment Finance Manager for EMEA region you will serve as Finance Business Partner to P&F EMEA organization ensuring short mid and long-term financial commitments are achieved or beaten.

What youll do

  • Proactively collaborate and communicate with relevant stakeholders to drive for optimal financial outcomes from a total P&L perspective;
  • Lead and improve the financial planning processes in close collaboration with the P&F Leadership FP&A and Commercial Finance teams by applying in-depth understanding of P&F operations and cost drivers such as volumes prices MIPs etc. impacting spending by country and business;
  • Work closely with P&F leadership to mitigate deterioration in financial results as well as on identifying defining presenting and implementing opportunities to improve financial outcomes using financial modeling techniques and by applying deep understanding of fulfillment cost composition and drivers;
  • Lead the monthly reviews with P&F leadership connecting business drivers with financial outcomes;
  • Drive Workforce planning process for P&F in close collaboration with other Commercial Finance business partners to ensure alignment and revision of financial plans with regards to changes in assumptions vs. LRP and highlighting changes in resource needs;
  • Anticipate financial impact of upstream and downstream changes and articulate impact to P&F and regional leadership;
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives in collaboration with FP&A and other functions;
  • Building strong partnerships across Baxters P&F Operations Commercial Manufacturing Finance Corporate Reporting Corporate Accounting organizations to ensure financial process requirements are achieved. Partnering in the S&OP process to achieve corporate cash flow objectives related to inventory and driving programs to manage efficiently inventory levels.

What youll bring

  • Strong cost accounting background coupled with ability to accurately articulate P&F results and its drivers in clear and concise manner to P&F and other regional leadership;
  • Proactive communicator with ability to build efficient collaboration with various functional and commercial stakeholders;
  • Strong business acumen allowing to identify and proactively highlight impact of changes outside and within P&F on P&F results to P&F and regional leadership;
  • Hands on self-starter with strong analytical and decision-making skills good understanding of financial statements (P&L CF B/S) as well as accounting principles and processes;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in line with business strategy in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines;
  • Proven Financial expertise in Supply Chain with at least 5 years in the international environment;
  • Experience in working with senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making processes;
  • Proficient English speaker.

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field is required.
