BSWH is seeking a BC/BE Physician to join our Survivorship/High Risk Clinic at the Outpatient Cancer Center in Round Rock Texas. This is a career opportunity with a generous benefits package. They should partner with physicians agencies and professionals to provide excellent patient care in our award-winning health care autonomous physician may be a Family Physician (FP) Internal Medicine (IM) or Medical Oncologist and will address the medical and psychosocial needs of the patients offering a comprehensive approach to care management. The physician will work with a PSS and RN to launch the clinic and with growth an APP will join the vision of the Survivorship/ High Risk Clinic is to provide high level care for a variety of patients recovering from or at elevated risk of developing cancer. The intent is to offset clinical volumes of cancer patients/potential cancer patients to enable oncologists to focus upon the needs of acutely ill cancer patients rather than those who require surveillance or goals of the clinic are to provide medical oversight to the following patient types:Cancer patients who have completed active treatment and/or require annual follow-up aka new to GAR not active treatment need to establish with an with a family history of cancer requiring genetic testing and/or who participate in the Multicancer Early Detection Clinical Trial.
