Position Summary
The Parts Counterperson supports our service department retail customers and wholesale clients by providing accurate parts identification order processing and excellent customer service. Some prior automotive parts experience is preferred and knowledge of Ford OEM parts is a plus.
Assist technicians and customers with sourcing Ford parts and accessories.
Provide accurate pricing availability and delivery information.
Use Snap-on parts catalog for part lookups and Dealertrack DMS for processing orders.
Receive stock and organize inventory; participate in cycle counts.
Handle counter phone and email inquiries professionally.
Perform a rotating Saturday schedule once fully trained.
12 years automotive parts experience preferred.
Knowledge of dealership systems; Dealertrack experience a plus.
Ability to use OEM/aftermarket parts catalogs especially Snap-on EPC.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Able to lift 4050 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Valid drivers license.
Experience in a Ford or Lincoln dealership parts department.
Knowledge of parts policies warranty processing and wholesale sales.
Fast-paced non-union dealership environment.
Exposure to typical shop conditions (noise dust temperature changes).
