PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a dedicated Health Safety & Wellbeing Specialist to lead our efforts in creating compliant supportive and resilient work environments across the Philippines.
As a key driver of health safety and wellbeing initiatives you will serve as an expert ensuring our operations adhere to local labor laws and global standards. Your strategic guidance and hands-on support will help embed a strong safety culture support governance frameworks and empower leaders to prioritize employee health at every level.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Own and maintain the Philippines OSH compliance register and ensure alignment with Republic Act No. 11058 (OSH Law) and the latest DOLE Implementing Rules and Regulations (e.g. DOLE Department Order No. 252 series of 2025) as applicable to office-based and hybrid work arrangements.
Lead workplace hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRAC) routine workplace inspections and corrective/preventive action tracking; ensure readiness for DOLE inspections/audits and internal reviews.
Facilitate OSH Committee governance and required trainings (e.g. safety officer/first aiders/fire wardens) including maintenance of a training matrix and compliance documentation.
Coordinate statutory facility-related health & safety permits and renewals with Workplace Services/Facilities (e.g. Sanitary Permit requirements and Fire Safety Inspection Certificate for business permit renewals as applicable).
Act as point of contact for OSH-related engagements with relevant authorities (e.g. DOLE/BWC local health office/LGU Bureau of Fire Protection) including inspection support and timely closure of findings.
Demonstrated experience managing Philippines regulatory compliance activities (e.g. DOLE OSH inspections and documentation and coordination of workplace sanitation and fire safety compliance items as applicable).
Holds relevant DOLE-recognized OSH training/certification (e.g. Safety Officer) and/or strong familiarity with requirements for safety officers incident reporting and OSH program documentation in the Philippines.
