Location: Barcelona Spain Hybrid (3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test and maintain high-quality features and components using React.

• Write clean scalable maintainable and well-tested code.

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Frontend Engineer backend engineers designers and product partners.

• Participate in code reviews and help define frontend best practices.

• Contribute to the full frontend development lifecycle from technical design through deployment.

• Ensure accessibility performance and reliability across the UI.

Must-have Skills

(Remember to include years of experience)

• 5 years of professional frontend development experience.

• Expert knowledge of modern ReactJS including React Hooks and React 18 features.

• Strong command of HTML best practices including semantic markup and accessibility.

• Deep expertise in CSS including vanilla CSS and scalable CSS methodologies.

• Proficiency with modern tooling: Webpack Babel NPM/Yarn.

• Strong experience using Git and GitHub-based workflows.

• Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g. styled-components Emotion).

• Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems.

• Familiarity with Storybook for component-driven documentation.

• Knowledge of or experience with microfrontend architectures.

Nice-to-have

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Use AI tools to optimize workflows (e.g. code generation analysis testing). Ability to propose effective AI use cases for improving development efficiency.

• Experience optimizing frontend performance for large-scale applications.

• Familiarity with accessibility automation tools or testing frameworks (e.g. Jest RTL Cypress).

• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.

• Contributions to open-source libraries or UI tooling.

Work Model

This role follows a hybrid model based in Barcelona Spain with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
