At PCSS our dedicated team of educators and specialists work collaboratively to make a lasting impact in the lives of our SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the team at Pioneer Charter School of Science I. The Occupational Therapist will assess students needs design and implement individualized therapy plans and collaborate closely with teachers staff and families to support student growth and independence. This is a part-time position requiring presence on campus twice per week throughout the school ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring occupational therapy comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and monitor direct therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills sensory processing self-care and other developmental activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote student independence and with educators and families to create classroom and home strategies that reinforce skill detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions assessments and student compliance with all educational legal and health in early intervention and multidisciplinary team initiatives to foster student state licensure as an Occupational working with children in a school setting (preferred).Strong knowledge of developmental and learning differences including autism spectrum communication and collaboration skills with educators parents and other to design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student with assistive technology and adaptive to inclusive education and empowering all students to achieve their Our TeamBe part of a mission-driven community that values innovation inclusion and student success.
