Job Summary

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Installation Engineer will be part of a dynamic and international environment working on projects relevant for the green transition to renewable energy. He/she will play an active part in the execution and success of the activities interact with a multicultural team in close contact with subcontractors and clients. This will definitely be an accelerator for personal and professional growth.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in defining cable installation requirements.

  • Preparation of technical documents for cable installation activities such as detailed drawings descriptive documents.

  • Active interaction with internal departments external consultants subcontractors and clients.

  • Support in planning activities of cable installation on site with in addition possible site visits to check feasibility of the proposed solutions.

  • Technical support to purchasing department for the finalization of subcontracts.

  • Preparation and check of final as-built documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Honours degree in technical engineering (preferably civil mechanical or materials engineering)

  • Fluent in English and German written and spoken

  • 0/3 years of work experience

  • Preference will be given to those who have basic knowledge of the land cable installation business/market

  • Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software like Microsoft Project Word Excel AutoCAD GIS.
