Guidehouse is currently seeking technical professionals in support of our Department of Defense client.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) (Managing Consultant) with a proven track record to possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of information system security across key assignments specifically for government clients. The ideal candidate will plan and lead major ISSO activities supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and collaborate with system owners and cybersecurity teams to progress through RMF steps.

Coordinate security control implementation and assessment activities. Maintain security documentation inapproved repositoriesincludingeMASS.
Responsibilities include but are notlimited to:

- Maintain security documentation in approvedDoDrepositories.
- Coordinate security control implementation and assessment activities.
- Support development of System Security Plans and assessment documentation.
- Function astechnicalexpert on information system security across multiple projects.
- Evaluate information system security posture and recommend major improvements
What You Will Need:
- BachelorsDegree is required
- Minimum ofSEVEN (7) years ofrelatedexperience in securitycontrolsassessments and applying the Risk Management Framework.
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SecretFederalor DODsecurity clearance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strongpeopleskills managing a diverse set of stakeholders and direct client management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues and project goals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability toidentifyobstacles and opportunities thatimpactthe success of plans or initiatives.
- Experience developing andmaintainingtrusted relationships with Federal clients onsite.
- Experience managing direct client engagement team to deliver impactful support to Federal clients.
- Demonstrated experience in developing security controls artifacts and evidence including but not limited to: System Security Plans (SSPs) Risk Assessment Reports and POA&Ms
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- At least one cyber certification: Security Certified Cloud SecurityProfessional (CCSP)or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
