Mitigation Technician
Job Overview: Our Albuquerque client in the restoration industry is seeking to add a NEW Mitigation Technician to their team. Join an industry-leading restoration team and make a meaningful impact in helping families and businesses recover after water fire and mold-related disasters. As a Mitigation Technician you will support emergency response efforts deliver high-quality restoration services and maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

What you will be doing as a Mitigation Technician
- Perform water extraction structural drying mold remediation and fire damage restoration.
- Assess damage levels and assist in developing effective mitigation plans.
- Operate specialized equipment including dehumidifiers air movers and cleaning/sanitizing tools.
- Document job progress complete required paperwork and maintain accurate project records.
- Communicate clearly with clients team members and supervisors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry and IICRC standards.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on restoration techniques and best practices.
- Support inventory management equipment cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; industry certifications (IICRC etc.) preferred.
- 12 years of experience in restoration construction or a related field.
- Knowledge of water and fire damage mitigation processes and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments including lifting heavy equipment.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Team-oriented mindset strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
