NONPROFIT DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDRAISING INTERN Part-time Spring 2026 (Feb - May 2026)
Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is seeking a current college student graduate student or recent college graduate who is interested in serving as an intern and providing a wide range of database research administrative and general support to SARRCs Development Team for the 2026 Spring Semester. In return SARRC will provide an opportunity for the intern to gain experience in and familiarity with areas such as fundraising community outreach special events and the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization.
Your Role at SARRC Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist with coordination of Community Breakfast administrative needs Assist with research on potential corporate foundation and individual donors Assist Development team with stewardship activities Maintain donor files and other development materials Assist the development staff in entering data and support items into Raisers Edge NXT cloud-based database Assist with mailings filing and special projects as needed Attend department staff meetings (Wednesdays 10:30 a.m. Noon)
Who You Are - Currently seeking a current college student current graduate student or recent college graduate with a degree in or pursuing a degree in Non-profit Management Communications Marketing or Business
- Desire to learn more about fundraising and philanthropy operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with fundraising databases is a plus but not required
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Salary $15.15/hr
Hours 10 Hours/Week Flexible within business hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
