As Head of Communications & Government Relations for the UK and Ireland youll lead strategic initiatives that elevate our brand influence policy and engage stakeholders at every level. Youll report to the regional Head of Communications & Government Relations Europe and work closely with the UK & Ireland Managing this role youll lead a talented communications team and build strong connections with government bodies and industry stakeholders.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Lead and oversee all communications and government relations activities across the UK and Ireland.
- Develop and execute integrated strategies to strengthen brand positioning and market visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers regulators and key stakeholders.
- Drive internal and external communications that inspire engagement and support business growth.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with international strategies and priorities.
- Inspire and mentor a high-performing team of communications professionals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic communications and public affairs.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in communications and public/government affairs ideally in a multinational environment.
- Proven expertise across media relations internal communications digital platforms and crisis management.
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of communication tools and best practices tailored for diverse audiences.
- International experience and familiarity with UK and Ireland markets; energy or technology sector experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
