Work hours:Full Time 36 Hours Nights; 7:00 pm 7:00 am; Rotating Weekends

Heres What You Need
Nursing Diploma required
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
BSN preferred
One-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
One-year strong Medical Telemetry experience in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act serve as a role model intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers
Cardiac Focused Care
Management of various cardiac drips
