Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled PPM Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site. The role is key to ensuring all plant and machinery operate at peak efficiency minimising downtime and supporting production through structured maintenance programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules across all manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections diagnostics and condition monitoring to identify potential issues.
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Record track and report maintenance activities and performance metrics.
- Assist with installation commissioning and upgrades of new equipment.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a PPM maintenance or reliability engineering role within FMCG manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Strong mechanical electrical and PLC knowledge.
- Experience with hydraulic pneumatic and conveyor systems preferred.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively problem-solve and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance reporting tools advantageous.
