The North Andover African American History Committee is a group of passionate local citizens who believe that African American history is American history and that all people should be represented in local history.The purpose of this application is to test drafted lessons that incorporate local African American voices and provide feedback.

Start December 2025

I am looking to assemble aNorth Andover African American History Committee Lesson Testergroup of three 3rd-grade teachers and three 5th-grade teachers to teach and provide feedback on 3 Wit & Wisdom-aligned lessons that center local African American voices starting in December 2025. The teachers whoapply interview and get acceptedfor this experience will receive $40/hr with a maximum of 3 hours.The job responsibilities are as follows:

Teach 3 provided lessons with integrity during the aligned Wit & Wisdom Module 4 Arc 2 (for 5th grade) and Module 4 Arc 3 (for 3rd grade).
Provide honest feedback to Jaclyn Taylor to improve lessons before making them available to the entire 3rd and 5th grades.
