The Position

The Opportunity

As an External Engagement Coordination Partner you bring a profound compliance expertise with you and will provide support to the Roche Network in the very key area of Healthcare professional engagements Patient Partnership (PP) and Grants Donations and Sponsorships (GSDs) for Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) and Patient Organizations. You will be working closely with Global Organizations to ensure Events with Healthcare professionals are conducted in an ethical and compliant way.

As a team member of the External Collaborations Enablement Team in your role you will actively drive and facilitate the E2E Compliance Process Oversight Improvement Monitoring and Execution. You will partner with Roche internal partners and external customers for the engagements within your responsibility and you will ensure that all Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Patient related engagements steps and work related to GSD requests for HCO/Patient organizations are effectively and efficiently managed and related transfers of value are executed on time in high quality and in line with all compliance rules and regulations.

  • Compliance Expertise and Advisory: Provide independent expert healthcare compliance advice to senior leaders and ensure adherence to global and local regulations throughout the external engagement process.

  • End-to-End Compliance Management: Manage the end-to-end compliance process for HCP/HCO patient engagements and GSD management including accurate FMV calculation compliant ToV transfers and reconciliation of POs invoices and payments to ensure timely and accurate execution.

  • Global Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with global pharma compliance offices and affiliates to determine FMV hospitality restrictions and gain approvals while ensuring timely and compliant submission of Actual Spend Reports in coordination with PCO.

  • Travel & Logistics Execution: Execute travel and logistics activities as needed to support engagement processes.

  • Customer Service & Engagement: Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to complex compliance-related queries guiding stakeholders tracking engagement processes and ensuring timely high-quality execution.

  • Process Development & Continuous Improvement: Partner with Compliance and Procurement Leads to develop new processes tools or resources scale up team capabilities and address deviations and CAPAs with the Global Compliance Senior Leader.

  • Inspection & Audit Readiness: Support the preparation of documentation for inspections and audits ensuring compliance and readiness.

Who You Are

  • Educational and Professional Requirements: Bachelors degree is mandatory with 5 years of experience in Customer Relations Management Finance Procurement Event Management or related fields.

  • HCP/HCO Expertise: At least 5 years of experience interacting with HCPs HCOs or patient communities alongside a strong understanding of Pharma collaborations with healthcare professionals.

  • Compliance and Process Proficiency: Solid understanding of healthcare compliance and external reporting requirements with proven troubleshooting analytical skills attention to detail and sound compliance judgment.

  • Project and Organizational Management: Exceptional project management and organizational skills to drive change and transform complex processes with excellence.

  • System and Tool Proficiency: Experience with systems like iHCP/GSD MyBuy SAP MDMS and other affiliate approval tools.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Strong networking cross-functional stakeholder management negotiation and communication skills to navigate global structures partner with internal and external contacts and succeed in a matrix environment.

  • Mindset and Ethics: Demonstrates strong work ethic personal integrity cultural awareness a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to apply agile methodologies (e.g. scrum lean design thinking) for impactful outcomes.

Salary starts from 2300 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidates level of experience skills and qualifications.
