Job Summary

Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.



Key job responsibilities
As part of Amazon LEOs Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global fulfillment capabilities. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize inventory management global network architecture system integration and operational planning. Your expertise in advanced supply chain technologies combined with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach will drive efficiency improvements cost reductions and elevate the overall fulfillment experience for Amazon LEO global customers.

Collaborate with global and regional business operations finance legal accounting trade and tax teams to develop fulfillment strategies aligning with Kuipers unique business goals and business models in each country.
Define and deliver comprehensive and crisp product requirements across mid and last mile supply chain needs leveraging and expanding existing solutions.
Partner with tech teams across Kuiper and Amazon to drive product development from design through to release making hard high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-market.
Drive alignment and commitment across dependency teams identifying and resolving strategic risks to help the team meet business financial and technical goals.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- 5 years of program or project management experience or a Masters degree and 5 years of supply chain experience
- 3 years combining supply chain product and program management driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

- Proven ability in building product roadmaps overseeing end-to-end product delivery and managing product lifecycles while balancing requirements user needs and technical constraints.
- Proven cross-functional communication skills to leverage tech and non-tech requirements to support business needs.
- Experience managing large scale successful projects
- Experience in both US and global operations
- Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
- Great analytic and communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
