The Opportunity & Role Profile
This successful secondary school requires a highly organized and skilled Science Technician to provide technical support across all three sciences (Biology Chemistry Physics). The role is vital for ensuring the safe efficient and inspiring delivery of practical science lessons to students up to A-Level.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Lab Preparer: Preparing apparatus chemical solutions and biological materials for daily practical lessons and examinations (GCSE/A-Level).
- Safety Champion: Ensuring strict compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines managing chemical inventory and maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Resource Coordinator: Repairing equipment managing stock and ordering new supplies efficiently within budget constraints.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Science Technician or relevant scientific qualification/background with strong commitment to laboratory safety.
