- Lab Preparer: Preparing apparatus chemical solutions and biological materials for daily practical lessons and examinations (GCSE/A-Level).
- Safety Champion: Ensuring strict compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines managing chemical inventory and maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Resource Coordinator: Repairing equipment managing stock and ordering new supplies efficiently within budget constraints.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Science Technician or relevant scientific qualification/background with strong commitment to laboratory safety.
- Salary: Competitive salary paid on the local government scale (expected to be 24000 - 29000 per annum).
- Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and dedicated budget for technical training.
