Job Summary

Volks Resources has an immediate requirement for a CCTV/ACS (Low Voltage) Technician in Beaumont TX.

You need a minimum of 2 years experience installing commissioning maintaining and repairing/troubleshooting in multiple Low Voltage disciplines.

This is an urgent position and you must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Job Description

Perform customer support activities involving the service installation and troubleshooting/repair and support minimum 2 packages or more out of structured cabling/fiber LAN System Voice and Video System PAGA systems Access Controls security cameras other security systems and two-way radio trunking systems in the plant or at pipeline locations
Provide technical support and resource to ensure delivery of service
Ability to take job ownership throughout completion which includes: Time Sheets Inventory Documentation and Field Documentation
Help other Telecom Technicians during the installation commissioning and maintenance of customer installed telecom equipment
Act as liaison with clients and other groups within company to ensure the timely delivery of service
Align with all safety requirements implemented by employer customers facility owners or venders involved in the employees daily tasks
Ability to finish required paperwork accurately legibly and obtain proper approvals from job site location management Communicate job progress to customers Site Lead and different levels of Management

Required Experience

2 years of experience installing commissioning maintaining and repairing/troubleshooting fault in minimum 2 packages or more out of structured cabling/fiber PAGA systems
Access Controls security cameras and two-way radio systems
High School diploma or GED is required.

Associate degree in electrical/electronics 2-year technical degree 4 years military telecommunications/electronics or equivalent work experience
