Summary:

Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies subassemblies and aircraft systems using manual operations.
Install parts and assemblies including landing gear control surfaces exterior panels interior components (carpets stowbins sidewalls lavatories galleys seats).
Install aircraft system components such as tubing valves regulators actuators compressors and ducts.
Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment (screwdrivers ratchets power tools multimeters continuity testers).

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Typically 1 year of related work experience or equivalent (vocational school/Associate acceptable).
6 months experience using computer applications (Internet navigation email Microsoft Suite or similar).
6 months experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications in English.
6 months experience in advanced manufacturing technical or mechanical work using hand power and pneumatic tools.
6 months experience in structural parts fabrication and assembly processes/procedures.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd).
Ability to perform physical tasks: kneeling bending reaching overhead climbing/balancing (ladders scaffolding inclined surfaces) crawling crouching twisting standing and walking.
Lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
