Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Test Automation Engineer skilled in Python to enhance our automated regression testing coverage and maintain our test automation framework.

You will work closely with QA and development teams to implement tests across web UI cron jobs and APIs. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to quality releases and improve test automation strategies. This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia whether its your home well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement regression tests for web UI jobs and API in cooperation with QA and development teams
Extend and maintain the test automation framework to support ongoing testing needs
Collaborate with QA to define test automation scope and recommend effective automation strategies
Automate web UI testing using Selenium WebDriver in Python
Develop API test automation scripts and integrate them into the testing workflow
Participate in the setup and configuration of test automation environments
Support integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to test automation
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage
Document automated test cases and frameworks for team use

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 12 years of experience and 4 experience as lead
Minimum 3 years of experience in automated testing with Python
Proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation
Experience in API testing and automation
Background in implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration environments
Competency in using GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and automation workflows
Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
