Job Summary
Riggers
Riggers operate inside the ships holds primarily handling breakbulk cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
Securing the cranes lifting ropes
Tying and preparing cargo for lifting or discharge
Performing unlashing for secured cargo
Cleaning and handling bulk cargo residue inside the holds
Weighbridge Operators
Weighbridge Operators must be fully knowledgeable about weighing procedures and accurate documentation to protect the companys interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Record shipments arriving for offloading or dispatch
Enter all data accurately into the system
Ensure correct net-weight calculations (Gross Truck Weight)
Print official weighbridge slips
Record truck details driver information and cargo type
Requirements
Experience in port warehouse or logistics environments
Ability to work in physically demanding and confined spaces
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them strictly
Basic literacy for reading and documentation
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Physical fitness for long shifts and labor-intensive tasks
Ability to follow instructions clearly
Problem-solving ability in fast-paced conditions
Preferred: Indian candidates currently
