Job Title: Senior Associate Developer Tenrox & Broadcom Clarity

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Developer skilled in Tenrox (time tracking and resource management) and Broadcom Clarity (Project and Portfolio Management) platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing developing configuring and supporting customizations and integrations of Tenrox and Clarity applications aligned with business needs. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders project managers and IT teams to enhance system functionality improve user experience and ensure data accuracy and reliability in project management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain custom reports dashboards workflows and integrations within Tenrox and Broadcom Clarity platforms.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system solutions.
- Customize and configure Tenrox and Clarity modules to support resource management time tracking project planning financials and portfolio management.
- Develop and maintain APIs web services and data integrations between Tenrox Clarity and other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP HRIS).
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues related to the applications ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with business analysts project managers and end-users to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Assist in planning and executing system upgrades patches and migrations for Tenrox and Clarity applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents user guides and process flows.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training/support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies security standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting developing or customizing Tenrox and/or Broadcom Clarity (CA Clarity PPM) applications.
- Strong knowledge of Tenrox time tracking resource management and workflow customization.
- Proficient in Broadcom Clarity PPM configuration reporting and integration.
- Hands-on experience with SQL PL/SQL or other database query languages for report and data extraction.
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) APIs and middleware tools for system integration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript VBScript) used in Clarity or Tenrox customization.
- Understanding of project and portfolio management concepts resource allocation and financial tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with ITIL processes and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
Preferred Knowledge/Skills *:
- In-depth understanding of Tenrox time tracking resource management and workflow customization.
- Experience with Tenrox API integration and data extraction.
- Strong knowledge of Broadcom Clarity (formerly CA Clarity PPM) configuration module customization and reporting.
- Familiarity with Claritys workflow engine data model and security model.
- Experience with project and portfolio management concepts including resource allocation financial management and forecasting.
- Proficiency in SQL PL/SQL or similar query languages for report development and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of relational database management systems such as Oracle SQL Server or MySQL.
- Experience working with RESTful and SOAP web services for integration between Tenrox Clarity and other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with middleware or ETL tools for data synchronization across systems.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like JavaScript VBScript or similar for customizing workflows and user interfaces in Tenrox and Clarity.
- Understanding Agile Scrum or waterfall methodologies and their application within PM tools.
- Familiarity with issue tracking debugging and root cause analysis in enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices related to incident problem and change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to design build and maintain custom reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports SSRS or BI tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with business users technical teams and vendors.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and user guides.
