Job Summary

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
5 years directly related experience supporting enterprise systems with demonstrated expertise in implementing integrating and optimizing large scale technology solutions to support organizational goals preferred.
ITIL certification preferred
Deep commitment to end-user satisfaction and experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Watson Candidate Assistant is here to answer questions about working at Dallas ISD.

The Director will act as the Lead for all enterprise student information systems including SIS LMS Assessments Systems and District student data platforms. This role places a strong emphasis on leading the student applications team fostering collaboration with major educational stakeholders such as School Leadership Teaching & Learning Special Education and other District departments.
Lead the software development implementation and support activities for the Districts Student Applications teams.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a culture of outstanding customer service and end-user experience within the student applications teams.
Implement policies procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity across student applications.
Work with users to streamline District student applications related processes guiding the teams efforts.
Develop manage measure and report on key service-level metrics including service level agreements productivity and customer satisfaction for the student applications teams.
Build and maintain positive relationships with other IT teams to ensure that overall IT services and goals are mutually understood and delivered specifically as they pertain to student applications.
Develop positive relationships with school leadership campus leadership and other district departments relating to student applications for campuses and departments serving as the teams representative.
Develop manage measure and report on key service-level metrics including service level agreements productivity and customer satisfaction for the student applications teams.
Build and maintain positive relationships with other technology teams to ensure that overall technology services and goals are mutually understood and delivered specifically as they pertain to student applications.
Manage the budget for student applications ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource allocation.
Maintain high ethical standards and adhere to all district policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
