Responsibilities
As part of the health care team practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses physicians and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
2. Georgia Pharmacist License.
PREFERRED:
1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
2. Completion of a Pharmacy Residency Training Program (PGY-1)
3. Good communication skills.
