Responsibilities
Supervises and leads department functions including serving and delivering meals menu planning food preparation sanitation and appropriate record keeping.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Two (2) years experience in a Hospital major Food Service establishment catering service or experience in storeroom/purchasing. 2. Must have valid drivers license (Northside Gwinnett Storeroom only) 3. Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications. 4. Demonstrated knowledge of cafeteria operations. 5. Ability to maintain proper cash handling procedures. 6. Ability to supervise and direct food service operations and personnel. 7. Working knowledge of personal computer applications (Office and Excel) in a windows based environment.
PREFERRED:
1. Certification by Dietary Managers Association 2. Previous experience in health care. 3. One (1) year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital major food service establishment or catering service.
