Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking a skilled and compassionate Infectious Disease (ID) Physician to join our team on a PRN basis. The physician will provide expert consultation and management of infectious diseases for hospitalized patients and when needed support outpatient follow-up. This role is ideal for a clinician who values flexibility while contributing high-quality evidence-based care within a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Location: Northside Hospital Cherokee Canton GA
Position Type: PRN
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Infectious Disease.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
Current Georgia medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
Current DEA registration.
Strong clinical reasoning communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Prior hospital-based infectious disease experience preferred but not required.
PRN / As Needed flexible shifts and consult coverage depending on hospital demand.
May include weekday weekend or holiday availability depending on service needs.
