Job Summary
The School of Chemistry Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer. Intra-operative imaging is an exciting and intriguing field at the intersection of engineering optics and biomedicine. Whether at the bedside or in the operating room real-time image based diagnosis of disease has the potential to greatly enhance patient care. The staff will join a new research group at NTU developing miniaturized medical imaging technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Support clinical translation of lab-developed microscopy and optical imaging technologies in collaboration with eminent clinicians and surgeons
Opportunity to work on advanced bioengineering technologies in the lab to develop new translational capabilities
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field is required.
Experience and interest in optics electronics software or other relevant technologies
Some evidence of interest/commitment to clinical translation technology deployment to clinical/hospital environments clinical administration is a major plus.
