JOB SUMMARY
This position will play a key role in managing the teams strategic roadmap including maintaining appropriate prioritization of projects determining resource needs troubleshooting roadblocks coordinating roll-outs and following projects through to completion. Success in this role will require close partnership and coordination with key external and internal partners including IT Hotel Operations Analytics Marketing and Property Leadership.
In addition the Director of Revenue Management Strategy will assist with short-term departmental projects and reports in support of senior leadership. As a leader within the department this role will also serve as an occasional proxy for the Senior Vice President and/or Vice President in order to maximize Revenue Managements impact and scope.
Assist with ideation of strategic initiatives for the department.
Coordinate internal project roadmaps and timelines for strategic initiatives.
Lead proactive communication of initiative updates to key partners and stakeholders.
Coordinate with Analytics to facilitate analyses in support of structural initiatives and key projects including but not limited to: data pulls impact sizing scenario modeling and A/B testing.
Develop strong working relationships with internal partners and external vendors in support of departmental initiatives and key projects.
In coordination with department leadership help determine and enforce prioritization and timelines of key initiatives and projects.
Serve as a representative of Revenue Management leadership in meetings with key partners and stakeholders when SVP/VPs are unable to attend.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be 21 years of age or older.
3 years of experience in a strategy or analysis role.
Bachelors Degree in Business Economics Math Statistics Finance Hotel Management or Revenue Management (or equivalent work experience in a related field.)
Working knowledge of the gaming or hospitality industry.
Track record of problem-solving conceptual thinking and analytical aptitude.
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects with competing demands for resources.
Strong business acumen and ability to synthesize information.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Proven ability to analyze and present findings from quantitative data to general audiences
Ability to tailor communication depending on the recipient (e.g. Senior Leadership vs. Internal Partner vs. Peer)
Capacity to operate and execute at the speed of business
Ability to be equally comfortable in the roles of teacher and student both of which will be large components of this role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SQL and data infrastructure
