The Role
We arelooking for anIBM ACE (AppConnect Enterprise)Developerto join thePayments Engineeringteam. You willbe responsible fordelivering applicationsfocusedonprocessingvarious typesof payment transactionswithin include design and developmentofACEapplicationsinbothon-prem and cloud will be exposed to a wide range of businessareaswork with multiple teams within the bank andhave the opportunity toparticipatein VIBE engineering using AI tools such experiencewith IBM FTM (Financial Transaction Manager) is a plus.

Design code and document applicationsusing IBM ACE and FTM
Execute unit testsystemand integration test
Provide consulting services on new initiatives (small to large of varying complexity)
Assessresearchand analyze business and system needs exploring alternative options to recommend technology solutions and designs that meet sponsor needsincludingcomponentreusability datasharingand security
Prepareshigh leveland detailed technical specifications for small to medium projectsin accordance withsecurity and architecture documentation objectives
Together withthe Architect and BAdeterminesbest mix of development interfacing applications third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives
If required develops criteria for andparticipatesin the evaluation of 3rd party vendors and software as well as due diligence exercises
Provideoff-hoursproductionsupport
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role
3 years of experience in an application development roleusing IBMACE
Programming experience with ESQL.
DB/2 & SQL Experience and or Knowledge
Experience/Understanding of Automated Build/Deploy process through Jenkins and familiar or experience with the DevOps / Agile Methodology
Knowledge of multiple platforms e.g. z/OS UNIX Client/Serverand the ability to selectappropriate oneto meet business needs
