About the role

Based out of Ravenhall depot you will be part of the Victorian Renovation team servicing sports fields at community level through to AFL venues. daily use of tractors and implements with transportation via a truck.

As a Tractor Operator you will be responsible to operate tractors and related equipment in performing turf management processes maintenance and transport tasks. The role ensures compliance with operational guidelines and safety standards to support timely project delivery and quality site outcomes.

Responsibilities include

• Operate tractors and attachments (e.g. slasher aerator rotary hoe harrows) to carry out ground preparation mowing spreading or cultivation tasks.
• Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance (e.g. oil checks tyre pressure) on machinery.
• Transport soil mulch or materials around the site as required.
• Follow site plans and supervisor instructions to meet project timelines.
• Identify and report any mechanical issues safety concerns or hazards.
• Assist with other general grounds or site duties as directed.

About you

• Minimum 2 years experience operating tractors or similar equipment.
• Current drivers licence (MR or above is desired); machinery or tractor competency tickets desirable.
• Experience working in grounds maintenance agriculture or construction sectors.
• Proficient in operating a range of tractor attachments and machinery.
• Ability to follow work instructions schedules and site plans.
