Responsibilities
Develops and monitors the work activities in the Histology Lab and the Morgue. Performs routine histological activities of receiving preparing and processing surgical specimens for patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
- Current HT/HTL Certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
- One (1) year experience as a Histology Tech.
- All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test.
PREFERRED
- Immuno chemistry experience and/or training.
- Bachelors degree in science plus successful completion of a formal histology tech program
- Attention to detail good physical dexterity and good written and oral communication skills.
Work Hours:
Mon - Fri: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
