SUMMARY

The Business Resource Manager leverages their banking experience to drive firm initiatives collaborating with Business Operations Talent and bankers to shape systems and processes that support business objectives clients and employees. As the firm expands this individual becomes central to firmwide efforts playing a role in enhancing and evolving the organization. The ideal candidate will have HW deal experience as well as the ability to effectively drive projects and change management across the firm in collaboration with stakeholders.

MORE DETAILS ON THE ROLE:

  • Initial areas of focus will include (not exhaustive this list will evolve over time):
    • Being a key contributor to the firms AI strategy helping identify prioritize and implement resources that will be most impactful to deal teams
    • Supporting the firms efforts to drive efficiency in deal processes such as streamlining NDA management buyer tracking etc.
    • Partnering with IT and Business Optimization on CRM enhancements and simplification
    • Driving Execution Council initiatives such as enhancing deal teams approach to data cubes and client data analytics
    • Creation of internal content for bankers on emerging trends impacting M&A and private capital. For example analyzing how M&A activity is impacted by presidential elections geopolitical dynamics or recessionary periods
  • Depending on the initiative the Business Resource Manager may either lead or support in a variety of ways including:
    • Helping Business Operations and Talent understand potential banker impact of changes or new initiatives
    • Identify areas where new or improved resources are needed to improve efficiency and differentiation
    • Prioritize efforts based on ROI for the firm and clients
    • Seek and give feedback on end-user needs and impact
    • Design systems processes and initiatives in alignment with business and employee needs
    • Implement change effectively including thoughtful communication to stakeholders testing training and rollout plans
    • Monitor the success of efforts ensuring adoption and uptake of new processes
  • Collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders are critical to success in this role

Job Specific Competencies Education & Experience:

  • Banking experience required preferably at HW
  • Ability to work in white space identifying opportunities and driving outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively in teams both as a leader and contributor
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once staying organized and on track against a stated timeline
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Expertise in Excel Teams and PowerPoint
