DescriptionThe Lead Assistant Financial Controller is responsible for managing the Financial accounting Statutory audit Internal audit Management reporting and Compliance requirements of the legal entity. To support the Financial Controller by independently taking judgment and recommending actions while managingthe abovesaid functions.
- Responsible for the preparation of financial related information required by government and regulatory agencies for statutory/external financial reporting.
- Performing the financial reporting of legal entities results (monthly quarterly annually) in accordance with US GAAP & Local GAAP
- Performing the analysis and interpretation of financial results to assess risk if any to Oracle operations and propose mitigation plans
- To work in cross-functional relationships with Oracles Finance Sales Legal Human Resources Tax and Treasury organizations.
- Ensures that financial information and statements reflect the true and fair viewof the legal entity for US GAAP consolidated reporting and statutory reporting.
- Performs and supports companys internal management reporting and analysis acting as a financial advisor and business partner on financial analysis.
- Gathers quantitative and qualitative information with an appropriate formal methodology to prepare assess and review operating cash flows dividends and solvency requirementsof the legal entities liaising with Tax Legal and Treasury.
- Implement best practice system processes and controls for the Corporation and legal entities to comply with all internal and external financial reporting obligations and to manage and minimize risk.
- Participate in Global & Regional strategic initiatives that optimize and enhance the operations of the Chief Accounting Officer organization.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant / Cost and Management Accountant with 6 to 10 Years of Post Qualification Experience.
- Expert knowledge on Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Advanced knowledge on Corporate and Taxation Laws.
- Working knowledge in ERP environment. Experience on any of the Data Analytics Tool will be an added advantage.

- Articulates clear and concise messages in a logical and descriptive manner
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the finance division you will assist in accounting functions which may include general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable fixed assets and inter-company transactions. Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries analysis reconciliation and reporting. Maintain and implement general accounting systems. Conduct account reconciliation periodically ledger close activities and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making. Develop and prepare financial reports including profit and loss income and balance sheet statements. Review and analyze inter-company transactions. Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications. Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes. May participate in special projects.
