Early Years Class Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team in August 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach and support children in the Early Years following IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) principles.
• Design and deliver engaging age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive social emotional and physical development.
• Foster curiosity and creativity through play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners and encourage holistic growth.
• Observe and assess student progress maintaining accurate records and sharing feedback with parents.
• Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment aligned with IB philosophy.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians building strong partnerships in support of each childs development.
• Promote school values and create a positive inclusive classroom culture.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A university degree in Education or Early Childhood Education with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Early Years students preferably in an international or IB school.
• Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Proven ability to create a warm engaging and supportive classroom environment.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (basic French is an advantage).
• A collaborative mindset and flexibility in a multicultural environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and supporting their growth through creative and meaningful experiences.
