We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the 3rd shift operation at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for the critical maintenance troubleshooting and repair of all production machinery used in the fabrication of commercial electrical products focusing on safe and productive equipment performance.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Effectively troubleshoot and repair production line and other equipment including automated lines clampers tappers screwdrivers and power presses.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily press and equipment preventative maintenance (PM) and lubrication including power press safety and inspection routines.
Machine Operations: Prove competency in the operation and repair of assigned production equipment including assisting in loading coils and performing equipment changeovers (welder production line).
Safety & Compliance:
Practice and promote a safe working environment adhering to fire safety fall protection lifting systems safety crane operations and powered industrial lift truck operations.
Execute and manage Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures (must be LOTO authorized).
Perform basic electrical tasks and adhere to electrical safety standards.
Conduct hot work permit tasks (including welding cutting and brazing).
General Duties: Productively maintain equipment and perform required day-to-day tasks focusing on the safe use and operation of maintenance tools.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
Skills:
Proven experience and knowledge working with hand tools.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
Work Requirements:
Must be willing to work on 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Must be willing to work overtime including weekends as needed.
Must be a team player with a willingness and ability to learn and progress in the trade.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Basic understanding of electrical systems.
