Norshield (an ASSA ABLOY brand) is expanding the Production Team. This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Montgomery Alabama.

Come see who we are at: would you do as our Manufacturing Associate
You will assist in assembling door components such as frames panels and hardware.
You would also:
- Operate basic hand tools power tools and manufacturing equipment as trained.
- Load and unload materials onto workstations.
- Perform quality checks on parts and finished products.
- Move raw materials parts and finished doors throughout the shop.
- Stack package and band products for storage or shipment.
- Support machine operators by preparing materials removing finished parts and monitoring workflow.
- Report any equipment issues immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies PPE requirements and manufacturing procedures.
- Report hazards near misses or unsafe practices.
- Assist different departments as production demands shift.
- Perform basic housekeeping tasks to keep aisles workstations and equipment clear.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Completes other duties and tasks as assigned
- Consistently supports and promotes a safe and harmonious working environment.
- Complies with federal state local and corporate governance policies regulations and laws AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
The Skills and Experience you need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to read and write as well as follow directions
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with accommodations
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
