Norshield (an ASSA ABLOY brand) is expanding the Production Team. This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Montgomery Alabama.

Come see who we are at: would you do as our Manufacturing Associate

You will assist in assembling door components such as frames panels and hardware.

You would also:

  • Operate basic hand tools power tools and manufacturing equipment as trained.
  • Load and unload materials onto workstations.
  • Perform quality checks on parts and finished products.
  • Move raw materials parts and finished doors throughout the shop.
  • Stack package and band products for storage or shipment.
  • Support machine operators by preparing materials removing finished parts and monitoring workflow.
  • Report any equipment issues immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies PPE requirements and manufacturing procedures.
  • Report hazards near misses or unsafe practices.
  • Assist different departments as production demands shift.
  • Perform basic housekeeping tasks to keep aisles workstations and equipment clear.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
  • Completes other duties and tasks as assigned
  • Consistently supports and promotes a safe and harmonious working environment.
  • Complies with federal state local and corporate governance policies regulations and laws AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to read and write as well as follow directions
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with accommodations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
