As an Ultrasound Tech at Mass General Brigham Medical Group you will have a significant impact on our innovative and advanced ultrasound programs. Youll engage with highly skilled professionals in a collaborative atmosphere offering direction to medical sonography students and acting as a crucial resource for our ultrasound staff.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offer clinical training to diagnostic medical sonography students teaching and supporting them during ultrasound procedures.

- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures which may include transporting transferring immobilizing and positioning patients.

- Clarify procedures to patients addressing both their physical and emotional needs.

- Independently carry out advanced Ultrasound Technologist procedural activities including echocardiograms vascular exams and Doppler studies.

- Record digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation.

- Assist physicians with needle biopsies renal biopsies and other procedures.

• Education Requirements - Satisfactory completion of formal Ultrasound Training program.

• Licensure Required:Registration or registration eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)(RDMS) and must be certified within 12 months of hire.

• CPR/BLS Certified

We are currently hiring a part time 30-hour Ultrasound Technologist to work at our Northampton and Amherst locations.

Schedule:

Monday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm - Northampton

Wednesday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm - Amherst

Friday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm - Northampton
